- Mode of Action: Beta cyfluthrin belongs to the synthetic pyrethroid group and acts on the insect nervous system as a sodium channel blocker. In the pest, rapid excitation and poor coordination are the first visible symptoms, followed by knockdown and death. Imidacloprid acts as an antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system and disturbs normal signal transmission, finally leading to the death of the treated insect.
